This 3 hour each-way cruise takes us out of the centre of Manchester, past Old Trafford football stadium and through Trafford Park where we pass by The Kelloggs factory & The Trafford Centre.
We then cruise over the Manchester Ship Canal on the historic Barton Swing Aqueduct taking in the heritage and wonders of this amazing example of Victorian civil engineering before travelling onto Worsley.
Along the way you can take a turn at driving the boat or chat to the skipper about local canal history.
Once we reach our destination your skipper leaves you to it for the night and returns to the boat in the morning.
For your night out, Worsley has a canal-side choice of restaurants and a pub. George’s Dining Room & Bar offers a great night out and a table should be reserved in advance.
In the morning, after the night before, we retrace our steps over the Manchester Ship Canal and aim to be back in Castlefield Basin between 1-2pm.
If you are in no rush to head home then Albert’s Shed restaurant offers a fantastic Sunday lunch and often puts on live music on most Sunday afternoons.
