We are happy to be flexible on Check In time to suit your travel arrangements but generally we like to do this between 4pm – 6pm.
Check out is between 9am – 11am is required so that we have time to prepare the boat before we welcome our next guests on board.
There is a convenient secure car park with electric gates offering under cover parking available 300 metres up the road from Castlefield Basin on nearby Bridgewater Street, M3 4NH – £16 per 24 hours last time we checked! Telephone 0161 736 4688 or 07703 676328 to book.
If you are visiting for a short period, then aim for The Wharf Pub which is 100 metres from the boat and has car parking for 35 cars or so: 6 Slate Wharf, Castlefield, M15 4ST. You can find a downloadable map on their website at: www.brunningandprice.co.uk/thewharf/contact
For weekend visitors (6pm Friday – midnight Sunday) there is a canal side car park opposite the boat which is available and free to use at weekends only, which you can find off of Castle Street, Manchester M3 4LZ

Castlefield Basin is a five minute walk from Deansgate train station & tram stop.
If travelling from Manchester Piccadilly or Victoria train stations you could catch the free Metroshuttle bus or you could get a taxi and ask to be dropped off next to Dukes 92 Restaurant at 18 Castle Street, Manchester, M3 4LZ.
CASTLEROSE is moored on the “other” side of the canal so walk over the white Merchants Bridge and follow the canal round. You’ll find us on the tow path near The Wharf pub. For your satnav our address is Bridgewater Canal Tow Path, Manchester, M15 4PR
There is a wonderful independent grocers 5 minutes walk from the boat’s mooring stocking all the essentials – including a deli counter.
Lakeland Grocers is underneath the arches at Deansgate Station at 345 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LG
There are no baby facilities on-board such as cot or push-chair. But please don’t let us stop you bringing your own.
