Canal Boat Charters offer a Self Catering option with whole boat hire:
If you are looking to enjoy a canal boat holiday without the stresses and strains of skippering your own self hire narrow-boat, then a skippered canal boat charter along The Bridgewater Canal may be the answer.

Castlerose is available for whole boat charter on a self catering basis with “Skipper Steve” doing the driving. You have the whole boat to yourselves, sleeping upto six,  and do all the catering. We just do the driving!

Once we are moored up at the end of each day’s cruise, your skipper leaves you to it for the night and returns to the boat in the morning to continue the adventure!
